Here are a few questions that many people ask about South
Jersey Websites.
Q. How much will a website design cost?
A. The cost of a website design is based on how much work needs to
be done. A basic five page website design would be $600. If you
need more than five pages, they would cost $25 for each additional
page.
If you wanted things like a blog, a shopping cart, Flash,
etc. then
the price would be higher. The best way to get an estimate on web

Q. How long does it take to create a website?
A. Again that depends on the complexity of a website. A site with
more pages and extras would take longer than a basic five page
website. The time frame also depends on how quickly the client
gives the designer the content for the site. A good time estimate
for a basic site would be about a month.
Q. Do you use templates or original designs?
A. South Jersey Websites designs all websites from
scratch—to the client's specifications. We don't use templates. That way
your website is unique. Q. When will I see my site listed on search engine sites?
A. When South Jersey Websites hosts your
site, we submit it to the search engines for you. We
also have search engine submission services. After successfully submitting your web
site to a search engine or directory,
it's up
to those organizations
to
list
your
site. Most
search engines will send a "spider" to your site within
a few weeks of submission. The spider will read and index your web
site and schedule your site to be listed. It usually takes 6-8 weeks
before your site appears on major search engines.
Q. What do you do to help the search engines find my site?
A. We get a list of keywords from you when we design your
site. This list should be words that you think people would use
when searching for a business like yours. We also recommend putting
in
local or regional words; like "South Jersey", "Camden County",
"Cherry Hill", etc. Putting in local area names focuses the search
better
and allows your site to perform better in the search engines. For
example, if you search for "web design", southjerseywebsites.com
wouldn't show up because the competition is high for such a keyword.
But if you search for "web design in South Jersey", our site does
much better. We

more information. Q. What's included in the hosting package?
A. The basic hosting package includes: 100 MB of disc space (for
storage of site files and emails), 2 GB of bandwidth per month
(the traffic that is sent out over the internet to your site users),
15 email addresses (at your domain name), and one hour per month
of site edits.
Q. Does that mean site edits don't cost extra?
A. That's correct. Your hosting package includes one hour of edits at no extra
charge. That means you email your changes to us, and we make them for you.
If you need more than one hour in a month, it can be purchased on an hourly
basis. Q. What does hosting and maintenance cost?
A . The package described above costs $20 per month, if
you pay monthly. If you pay for a year at a time, it's $200 per year.
You get two months free when paying yearly.
